I moved here from Ethiopia and was looking for a short-
term course that would prepare me for my first step in
the medical field. A friend told me about Pima Medical
Institute. When I walked in they were awesome, helping
with my financial aid and everything I needed to sign up.
I went home and couldn’t sleep because I was so excited to
start school. It was a great time for me. Everyone’s doors
were open if I needed any advice. Now, I am so happy
to be a medical assistant and I am very proud of myself.
I’m working at Group Health. I love my new career,
but I’m not finished. I hope to become a Physician
Assistant and I have new opportunities through my new
employer.
I’m so happy to help people and to have my life be changed
as well. I want to tell the people at Pima Medical Institute,
Thank you! I will not forget the days that all of you
helped me with everything I needed. I had trouble with
my accent in the beginning, but we made it. I love and
respect all of you from my heart and I thank God for you.
Everyone’s doors were open if I needed
any advice.
