Page 9 - 45th Anniversary Alumni Success Stories
P. 9

Dick Sr. was a generous man who quietly gave to others when
no one else was looking. Since his death in 2008 the stories
have steadily come to light from grateful alumni who remem-
ber his kindness.

Perhaps his greatest contribution was setting the compass
to true north by the values he modeled; treating others as
family, belief in the inherent value and potential of people.
His vision was simple: educate people for jobs in demand. His
values were grand: do right, love others and be the best.

His legacy lives on through thousands of graduates, staff and
faculty committed to the ideals of serving others. With grateful
hearts we pay tribute to Senior for being the wind beneath
our wings.
