Nosleidy Ramirez Barzaga When I began my journey as a Physical Therapist Assistant
student back in 2013, I immediately realized there was so
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Program much more to learn about the profession I had a passion
Online Campus for. I always knew that an associate in Physical Therapist
Assistant was not going to be the end destination of
Graduated 2018 my career. Two years later I took the next step, bringing
me closer to my goal of achieving a Doctor of Physical
Therapy (DPT). I wanted the perfect school to complete
my bachelor’s degree online. After some research
and speaking with different admissions counselors and
directors of bachelor’s programs, I chose Pima Medical
Institute. I had undoubtedly found my perfect school.
Pima Medical helped me grow as a professional. I
learned about the importance of innovation and
deepened my research knowledge, helping me to
project myself in completely new work areas. The
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant
(BSPTA) program gave me the tools that have helped
me to be more efficient in my workplace. I have learned
to generate better rehabilitation processes and to
also communicate on a higher level with other health
professionals involved in a case. Pima Medical has
helped me tremendously in my work field, but it has also
pushed me for a better future.
Recently, I was accepted into an accelerated DPT
program, and much of my success is due to the BSPTA
program and especially all the instructors who not only
taught me the material, but also pushed me to be better
every day. I will be forever grateful for the education I
received at Pima Medical Institute.
